Associate Creative Director

Are you an Art Director on the cusp of becoming an ACD and looking to make the move? This could be your chance to land the job as an ACD working under a Creative Director who will take you under his wing and teach you everything he knows about what it takes to succeed in the agency world. We are scouring all of Chicagoland for the ideal candidate to fill this position. The job entails working in an in-house creative department for a CPG company. The projects this creative department produce include: POP, in-store signage, ads, packaging, billboards and outdoor environmental pieces. As the ACD, your role will be 80% managing projects and leading the AD's in the right direction with their project work. The other part of you role includes taking creative briefs from the Account Team and dispersing the work out to the Art Directors. You will be assigned a group of brands and will be communicating with clients in face-to-face meetings. You must have the right personalty and intelligence to talk professionally with clients and "wow" them with your knowledge! Thus, you must have a strong knowledge of the business side as well as the creative (there will be no sales person in these meetings with you). The ideal candidate will have a good blend of advertising experience and some integrated experience along with a true entrepreneur spirit! Also, this is a hands-on design role as well in which you will be taking on some small design projects of your own.

Note: this job will start out as a contract and could lead to full time employment if you are the right match!
Also, you can expect to work 3-5 hours of overtime every week. The hours are 9-6pm. The metra stop is across the street from the building.
