Our agency client is looking for an Associate Creative Director to kick off as early as next week. This is a contract position for 3+ months.
What you’ll do:
The Associate Creative Director (copy) produces and oversees creative work across a variety of mediums. S/he leads and contributes to brainstorming sessions. S/he is skilled at transforming whiteboard scribbles into full-fledged ideas while directing and mentoring art and copy teams. The ACD ensures that all creative work is strategically on-target, brand compliant, creatively excellent and utilizes the most effective techniques and technologies for generating response. The ACD reports directly to the Creative Director and works closely with executive and account contacts to help manage clients’ business needs.
Leading ideation and overseeing execution of creative projects.
Developing creative strategies.
Writing and presenting both conceptual ideas and tactical executions.
Proactively leading teams of Art Directors and Copywriters to ensure all deadlines are met.
Creating and managing multiple projects from concept to execution.
Providing creative, innovative, solid design and copy direction.
Developing and implementing the brand look-and-feel across all creative deliverables.
Solving larger client issues that may arise in the course of day-to-day work.
Driving and participating in brainstorm sessions.
Formulating and directing design/copy guidelines for internal and external materials.
Working with and coordinating creative and account teams to produce most effective, optimal and informed solutions.
Keeping up with latest design and industry trends and new technologies.
What you should bring to the table: BFA, BA/BS or higher.
Excellent interpersonal, communications and organizational skills.

Proven ability to mentor and provide effective direction to creative staff.

Self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with ability and experience to manage many projects simultaneously.
Proven ability to work effectively with Account and Production staff to meet project deadlines and solve clients’ related problems while overseeing creative staff.
Knowledge of all major interactive, design and general office applications.
The ability to understand, communicate and develop online marketing tools that address specific business objectives.
Ability to interact positively with employees at all levels of the organization.
Solid sense of design and copy standards.
