Associate Corporate Communication Manager ( Internal & External)

Our client is looking for a Corporate Communication Manager with 7+yrs, agency and corporate, experience. The ideal talent will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Responsible for providing complex communications consultation, communications planning, implementation and recommended solutions for multiple Kaiser Permanente programs and projects to meet internal and external organizational communication goals.
• Strategize with client, write creative briefs, communication plans, researches and analyzes information, prepares presentations (PowerPoint presentations, speeches and talking points), plans logistics, and manages overall coordination of client facing aspects
• Manage the portfolio of publications and other communications materials for various internal or external stakeholders.
• Utilize job-tracking database for project records, including assigning accountabilities, deadlines, and project specifications, and file maintenance.
• Provide communications consultation and guidance to internal/external stakeholders helping them articulate, develop, and clarify communication objectives and expected outcomes.
• Consulting activity will vary from verbal communications or advice on communications issues to providing written customized communications plans.
• Strategize with client, write creative briefs, research and analyze information, prepare presentations (talking points, FAQs, summaries), plan logistics, and manage overall coordination.
• Develop and implement short and long-term communications plans and tactics to fulfill the objectives of the region or stakeholder, in alignment with strategic goals of the Senior Leadership Team or dept Directors.

• Ensure internal communications activities are consistent with the brand in terms of tone, manner, and messaging.
• Manage and complete multiple assignments in agreed on time frames and coordinate diverse projects and activities into a cohesive and strategic program for a single client or for a program.
• Decide appropriate solution for problems that arise during projects and manage projects as assigned.
• Educate and advise clients about the cost effectiveness of electronic communications and encourage the use of new media.
• Keep up with new trends in communications technology, including new and social media and other web-based platforms.
• Write and edit straightforward and simple content for internal communications programs and projects including materials for newsletters, Web sites, tool kits, and other forms of internal communications to support the region’s strategic communications requirements.
• Proofread and coordinate the production of communications materials. Ensure final placement of materials, including distribution, and provide miscellaneous follow up.
• Update content of stakeholder-specific and project regional or Program-wide web pages.
May supervise other communications staff for the purpose of implementing specific communications projects, events, or programs within a given timeframe.
• Communicate clearly across the communications team expectations, accountabilities and project instructions.
• Plan, develop, and implement production schedules and coordinate deadlines with writers, designers, and print production coordinator.
• Coordinate the workflow of projects between department staff.
• Schedule meetings with writers, graphic production, print buyer, and fulfillment as needed.
• Advise department managers on communication issues, client needs, and department workload.
• Coordinate and collaborate with deliverables of other communicators in the organization to ensure that special projects are in compliance with negotiated timelines/financial allocations.
• Consult with Print Buyer and Fulfillment supervisor to assure feasibility and cost effectiveness of proposed designs.
• Review and approve digital proofs before projects proceed to production.
