Our eCommerce client's Publishing Department is hiring an Associate Contracts Manager to support its rapidly growing business. Your responsibilities will include managing database systems, contract entry, weekly reporting, project tracking, and acting as a point of contact to cross-functional teams to launch books successfully. The successful candidate will possess the ability work efficiently and manage high volumes of tasks and projects with little guidance. Excellent written and oral communication skills are required as this position involves direct contact with key business stakeholders. Flexibility, sharp organizational and process-oriented skills, and a self-starting work ethic are desired.

As the Associate Contracts Manager you will take the contracts from the customers and get everything entered correctly so the publishers can get paid. It is similar to accounts receivable.

Sharepoint design experience is the number one skill needed for this position. You will be will be working on workflows. Most of the workflows are currently set up, but the need to be able to fix them if they break or change them if needed is important. The workflows are for contract management, from contract negotiation to contract entry. There's another database where the contractor will be entering in contract information. Good attention to detail is key. This will be a heads down repetitive task dealing with very critical information. Even single digit data entry errors can cause havoc. The Sharepoint information gets exported to Excel where the contractor will do weekly metrics reporting. This contractor will need to know pivot tables and vlookups. The ability to switch gears and prioritize is key. They'll never know how many contracts are going to come in.
