Our client is searching for a temp Associate Brand Manager that will help build their brands, attract new retailers and consumers, build brand engagement, successfully deliver on their annual strategic and operating plan, and profitably drive distribution and market share. The Temporary Associate Brand Manager reports to the Sr. Brand Manager and is responsible for profitably building and maintaining the assigned brand(s). This person is fully knowledgeable on brand objectives and helps establish brand success metrics and progress related to brand health, market share, shipment trends, contribution and profitability, marketing budget status, key account performance, and competitive performance, positioning and tactics. The Temporary Associate Brand Manager assists the Senior Brand Manager with advertising, consumer promotions, event marketing & sampling, sponsorship and value-added media activation, pricing & merchandising strategies, social media, cost savings and other brand-related assignments and projects.


General Position Responsibilities

- Assists with quarterly reviews, business analyses, promotional plans, competitive analyses, market research, and sales meetings.

- Devises marketing strategies to achieve objectives, solve problems and support the brand goals and objectives.

- Researches consumer needs to identify market opportunities.

- Maintains a strong understanding of brand performance, relative to established short and long term brand objectives

- Partners with Sales to ensure trade/consumer marketing programs meet brand and sales objectives.

- Assists in developing presentations for sales meetings and key customer sales calls.

- Manages budget and planned expenditures.

- Generates marketing briefs, design briefs and evaluates proposals and creative for fit with objectives.
