Vitamin T is seeking an experienced Marketing & Brand Manager with food industry experience.

This position is responsible for the day-to-day management of all brand activities, including but not limited to managing new product development and existing product renovation projects, analyzing and synthesizing syndicated data to identify and communicate competitive, pricing, consumer and retailer trends and insights and assisting in the development/writing of strategic marketing plans and other business-update presentations.

This individual will work closely with all departments and must be comfortable assuming a leadership role on multi-functional projects.

To be successful, this person must be very analytical and organized, have the ability to think strategically and glean insights from research and syndicated data and be able to communicate those insights via charts and slides. Someone who is a team player and self-starter with a very positive attitude and an ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment is a must. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, resourceful, creative and capable of managing multiple projects at a time.


Specific duties will include:
• Closely monitoring and analyzing business performance, share trends, competitive activity and other market data from Symphony IRI and/or internal reporting systems to help identify business opportunities or issues
• Supporting sales team needs by helping develop and execute all marketing and promotions activities and retailer-specific products
• Working with designer to develop product packaging and promotions materials, while ensuring adherence to brand architecture and style
• Assisting in the creation of sales and marketing presentations
• Managing all day-to-day marketing-related activities, including cross-functional project management and implementation, creative development and business analyses
• Maintaining all brand assets and updating brand website
• Assisting in the development of and maintaining brand budget and marketing calendar.
• Processing marketing-related invoices and tracking brand spending
• Assisting in the coordination of and participating in market research activities
• Working with Senior Brand Manager to manage new product development projects from conception through execution (pricing, positioning, packaging, research, etc.), by working collaboratively with different functions
• Working with vendors on execution of consumer marketing and advertising programs, including displays and merchandising, online, in-store, social media programs, etc.
• Completing all forms and paperwork that pertain to the brand as required (e.g. writing briefs, project proposals, etc.)
• Assisting in management of external vendors and partners as appropriate (e.g., advertising, PR, market research agencies, etc.)
• Manage Packaging approval process with internal department and outside print vendors
• Manage timelines and deliverables for new product development
• Manage coupon clearing house(coupon entry and tracking, invoicing, cost management, trends)
• Execute promotional materials, programs, and events
• Execute Market Research
• Develop coupons, consumer and trade ads, and sales materials
• Key contact for consumer response and key filter/evaluator for marketing and programs
• Maintain and update consumer and trade websites
• Write and help edit marketing copy for packaging, website, consumer promotions
• Process marketing related contracts and invoices
• Assist on various miscellaneous marketing/sales projects
