1) The distribution of micro-content for audiences of all ages across various media platforms, both internal and external.
2) Marketing objectives, as well as the objectives of a select group of advertisers that have been chosen to participate in the creation and distribution of micro-content across all platforms.
3) Editorial workflow and process improvements that empower our content creators to broadly distribute content.
4) Reporting the performance of our content across all platforms, both internal and external, to understand, share and guide content creation in a complex social landscape.

The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of modern Interaction Design, mobile design, as well as solid technical foundation with knowledge of CSS and HTML. Bonus points for product management experience.

• You understand that content is king and getting that content to our guests, wherever they may be, is your top priority.
• You love creating prototypes and are able to create both low and high fidelity wire-frames to communicate and test specific interactions
• You are scrappy with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• You have outstanding written communication skills and are good at articulating ideas.
• You have the mind of a researcher and are good at interviewing people of various disciplines.
• You understand that ideas can come from anywhere, and therefore pay attention to even the subtlest of trends.

Responsibilities
• Develop prototypes (wireframes, sketches) illustrating interaction patterns for usability studies, front-end engineering, or internal discussion
• Partner with Product Managers, front-end engineers and UX, and Visual designers to build the most compelling solutions for content publishing/authoring tools.
• Ability to prototype different solutions using a combination of HTML, CSS, and CSS animations
• Be completely embedded with editors, producers, and social strategists – accompanying them to events as needed – to gain first-hand knowledge of workflow pain points and efficiencies
• Understand our guests behaviors by analyzing traffic patterns and data
• Partner with sales to align guest desires with advertiser needs
• Investigate future technology and its potential usage by following industry trends
• Use this information to document ideas and potential features of these tools
Required Qualifications
• 1-2 years experience in UX or interaction design, product management, content distribution, or social strategy
• Familiarity with content and social publishing tools
• Bachelor’s degree (in Editorial, Computer Science, Human Computer Interactions or related fields preferred)
