Assoc., Site Merchandiser - Clothing/Shoes

DESCRIPTION: Our Client is looking for an enthusiastic, creative Associate Site Merchandiser to help grow our Clothing and Shoes business by using innovative merchandising techniques and building compelling, pixel-perfect content.

The successful site merchandiser candidate will plan and schedule email and site content, analyze metrics, and report on performance. This person will also work to drive overall improvement in the look, feel, and navigation of new and existing brand stores and will help drive projects and initiatives to improve the shopping experience. You should be data driven, detail-oriented, extremely organized and professional, capable of handling multiple projects at once, able to take direction, capable of dealing with ambiguity and rapidly-changing priorities, and comfortable working with teams, vendors, and management.

Key Responsibilities Include:
- Effectively build content and merchandise products both within the Jewelry and Watch stores and across our client's platform
- Analyze performance of site content, always seeking ways to improve
- Independently plan and execute email campaigns and oversee their full cycle: creative development, segmentation and data processing, pre-deployment testing and QC, and back-end analysis.
- Drive all email and communication templates through internal email platform.
- Provide analyses of email campaigns and recommendations for enhancing their effectiveness.
- Drive site improvements to completion by coordinating with project managers, web developers, buyers, designers, and other merchandisers
- Work closely with the marketing team to optimize promotional efforts and help meet business needs
- Work with buyers and vendor managers to create on-brand, best in class content, tailored to appropriate customers
- Plan, develop, and coordinate cross-site sales and events with Amazon.com counterparts.The successful candidate has demonstrated:
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills (includes the ability to effectively use tools such as Excel) and an ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases.
- High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
- An ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
- Superior verbal and written communications skills.
- Plan, develop, and execute compelling e-mails and merchandising campaigns
- Ability to analyze results of merchandising and traffic efforts

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in marketing, e-commerce merchandising, or retail merchandising
- Experience with
- Experience with HTML or CMS
- Experience designing and executing highly visible online customer experiences

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong language skills
- Ability to be flexible, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment
- Creative and innovative problem solver
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
