Our client is looking to hire an experience eCommerce Web Designer for a 3-month contract-to-hire position. You will work onsite at our client's offices. This an excellent career opportunity to become a part of a major retailer's growing ecommerce team!

REQUIREMENTS
• 1-3 years of design experience with a minimum of 1-year professional web design experience. Must have a proven track record in concept development/layout, project development, project execution, UI design for consumer and e-commerce web sites.
• Link to online portfolio and/or websites that demonstrate solid design skills, versatile aesthetic, and typography, web design and usability skills.
• Must possess a solid understanding of eCommerce best practices, website design, and essential graphic design theory.
• Bachelor’s degree in BA or BS in Graphic Design, web Design, Visual Communications with emphasis interactive & multimedia design

TECHNICAL SKILLS NEEDED
• Expert level efficiency in Photoshop/Illustrator - Dreamweaver
• Intermediate Flash
• eCommerce Content Management Systems
• Ability to work on Mac or PC
• Final Cut, After Effects
• HTML, CSS, Cross Browser compatibility
• Animation & VideoWeb standards
• MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• MACINTOSH

JOB DESCRIPTION
Experienced and talented Web Designer needed to support the eCommerce department in the production of website creative assets for the home page, category pages, banner advertisements and on-site marketing campaigns. Works closely with internal departments to gather creative assets for/from specific marketing campaigns.

40% of the time: Update existing creative design assets for the Home page, Category page, Family Page, Brand Shops, on-site CMS spots. (Example: Banner Ad verbage, font, color, size modifications). Modify creative design assets throughout entire life cycle from conceptualziation to delivery of final product with approval from the Lead eCommerce Web Designer.

10% of the time: Works with eCommerce Product Management group to update the design and development of mock-ups for website enhancements

20% of the time: Responsible for the process of taking a full site marketing campaign and "rebuilding" it to a smaller size for mobile website display

30% of the time: Work closely with internal departments in executing on-site ad campaign to support product launches, seasonal marketing efforts, display marketing banner campaigns
