Assistant Visual Project Coordinator

Fortune 500 Luxury home good company is seeking an assistant Visual Project Coordinator on a contract to hire basis. The ideal candidate is responsible for assisting the Visual Project Coordinator with scheduling, coordination and implementation of all graphic visual merchandising initiatives.

Supporting the Visual Project Coordinator and Art Director to ensure that fleet and affiliated retailers have the graphics they need, when they need them. Work collaboratively with Visual Project Coordinator and other corporate partners to maintain organizational systems for a large body of visual assets and complex distribution lists.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track visual merchandising projects through to completion to ensure that all store graphics arrive on time.
• Coordinate and replenish in-store graphics as needed.
• Maintain store graphic allocation lists
• Maintain major graphics “save lists”
• Maintain archive of graphic assets for all related programs.
• Verify assets and programs meet established print specifications.
• Assist with the final preparation of print-ready files.
• Compile action items for projects in development pipeline.
• Engage assigned team members such as designers and visual planner to successfully accomplish project goals.
• Oversee adherence to processes, including file structure standards and naming conventions.


Job Requirements:
• 2+ years of project coordination or traffic management in a design studio, in-house creative department, or agency environment.
• Proactive, organized, efficient, detail-oriented, accountable, and motivated.
• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills (face-to-face and written).
• Working knowledge of Mac OS, Photoshop CS6, Illustrator CS6, In-Design CS6, and Microsoft Office is required.
• Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to anticipate needs, innovate and flourish in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent team player with the ability to apply innovative ideas and critical strategic thinking to projects and the organization’s opportunities.
• Ability to execute changes accurately and efficiently.
• Experience managing print-ready project files preferred, but not required.
