Responsible for assisting with the implementation of the social media strategy across all channels; leverage understanding of company and related industry trends to engage and enhance the brand community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Work with manager to plan and execute brand social media initiatives and manage brand presence on channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and YouTube
• Monitor industry trends and competitors, identifying areas of opportunity and new applicable technologies and vendors, as well as best practices
• Manage weekly and monthly reporting and analysis, including identifying actionable results ; provide ongoing campaign monitoring and reporting
• Work with cross-functional partners in PR, direct marketing, online marketing, creative, and merchandising
• Partner with creative team to develop compelling, on-brand site content and assets
• Support registry, partnerships and other key brand initiatives

EXPERIENCE:
• 1-2 years of social media, content and/or online brand marketing experience
• Undergraduate degree required; concentration in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism or related communications field preferred
• Actively involved in social media space, with a proven understanding of how to use social media tools to effectively listen, communicate, and build relationships
• Hands-on experience with online communities and social networking sites in a professional capacity, including Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube account management.
• Technical understanding of existing digital platforms, emerging technologies, and integration strategies
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time and project management skills, with ability to organize and prioritize efficiently
• Highly creative and self-motivated, with strong conceptual and decision making skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
