Assistant Sales & Events Planner

This position requires eCommerce/Retail Buying experience!

The Assistant Sales & Events Admin will provide daily support to the Sales & Events Team within the team. The position is located in San Jose, CA. This position provides great exposure to the unique world of fashion and buying within the e-commerce sector of retail.

Essential duties and responsibilities to include but not be limited to:
• Ownership of team’s weekly reporting; running and publishing reports accurately while meeting internal deadlines
• Responsible for entering markdowns/subsidies, weekly
• Drawing up markdown/ subsidies contracts, sending out to sellers; follow up with sellers on approvals
• Communicate to Sales & Events Managers on subsidy approvals/declines; follow-up for resolution
• Track reporting for markdowns/subsidies; report back against monthly planned budget
• Analyze weekly reporting and suggest optimization based on performance
• Conduct detailed ad-hoc analysis as required and with accuracy

Skills:
• High level of proficiency in excel; specifically pivot tables, formulas, formatting reports and Vlookups
• Self-starting attitude with ability to build reporting templates and to learn reporting systems quickly
• Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow through on all aspects of responsibility
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines and focus in a busy atmosphere, shift priorities if needed
• Assistant planning/buying experience a plus; e-commerce environment preferred
• Analytical and organized a necessity

Qualifications:
• College degree or 1 -2 years relevant experience in planning/buying preferred
• Previous experience working in e-commerce business
