Assistant Project Manager, Marketing / Store Openings

We are looking for candidates with 1-2 years of Agency or general Marketing experience with Project Management skills. A "General Marketer" who will coordinate the efforts of cross –functional partners including working with Media Agency, Mall contact and internal teams (Digital, Social Media, Creative). Great to have experience working with Creative teams. Day to day will include project management, writing templated creative briefs and leading calls.

Partner with Senior Marketing Manager to create and execute store opening/remodel plans.
Manage production of creative elements and creative process for all openings.
Create and execute marketing plans for remodels. Support stores (retail) as primary contact for grassroots initiatives. Support manager with store opening promotional items.

ADDITIONAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with creation and management of marketing plans for all store openings, relocations and remodels including strategy, Public Relations, advertising and logistics
• Manage creative process by creating all jobs and ensuring they are completed and routed accurately and in a timely manner
• Partner with District Manager/Store Director to gather information on market
• Review media agency recommendations with District Manager and work with agency to make necessary changes
• Partner with mall marketing manager to collect store location details, review media recommendation and book additional in-mall/online advertising opportunities
• Source and manage vendor resources for store opening promo items; partner to conceive, manage and allocate promo items for all store openings
• Manage online and social advertising components for store openings (email blasts, facebook, twitter and instagram)
• Partner with Public Relations to ensure press releases are correct and executed in a timely manner for all openings
• Contribute ideas for unique and compelling advertising for store openings
• Responsible for specific event details for all pre-opening loyalty group parties
• Assist with invoice processing and monthly budget reviews
• Maintain and update NY Marketing section of store intranet site
• Attend store openings as appropriate
• Manage Store Marketing results, recaps and assets (pictures).

• Able to work with cross-functional teams and various levels throughout an organization.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills. Able to manage and track multiple projects.
• Strong interpersonal skills, approachable, diplomatic and flexible.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills
• One to two years retail/marketing experience required.
• Computer proficiency including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, powerpoint)
• College degree preferred / Marketing
