Assistant Project Manager

Aquent, the world leader in digital, marketing, and creative solutions, is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for one of our key accounts. The objective of the assistant project manager position is to help project managers complete their daily tasks. His/Her functions will be supportive and dynamic in nature. Project assistant will work under the direction of the associate director, program manager or project manager, but perform the work independently. He/She will receive guidance from one or more senior team members to understand and solve complex problems as needed.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Coordinate and complete activities related to the program and project management.
• Perform a variety of project administrative duties
• Manage day to day project related activities
• Manage project related meetings with stakeholders internally within our group as well as between cross functional teams
• Transcribe meeting minutes and follow up on action items from the meeting
• Disseminate project information to all project stakeholders
• Monitor progress of project activities on behalf of the project manager
• Prepare necessary meeting material, including reports, presentations and agendas

Skills and Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience supporting projects which include project planning
• Detail-oriented with exceptional communication, interpersonal skills and a team player
• Flexible, process-oriented, organized, with excellent analytical skills
• Ability to manage small, well-defined projects with minimum supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work independently or within a team
• Experience with Microsoft Project
• Experience with Tableau a plus
