Assistant Project Manager

Summary: Responsible for using best practice PM methodology to create a project plan to fit the stakeholders/sponsor’s needs and deliver on desired outcomes. Education/ Experience: Bachelor degree preferred. 0-2 years experience managing projects, preferably in a Creative Services role in a Retail or Consumer Package Good environment. Skills and Competencies: Advanced verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals. Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis. Intermediate to advanced proficiency MS Office applications, particularly Excel. Highly organized with good time management skills. Customer service orientation, and strong interpersonal skills. Analytical thinker with creative problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Manage timeline and operational task, including communications to external vendors and proofing print collateral. Partner with production artist to manage and track delivery of files and approvals to external vendors. Communicate and partner with production artist to edit print collateral. Recommend best solutions based on understanding of business issues.

Additional Qualifications: - Intermediate to proficient use of Excel - Retail background preferred, not required - Prior creative services, production, print production background preferred, not required - Vendor management relationship preferred, not required - Quick learner - Works well in fast paced, ever changing environment.
