Assistant Product Manager, Cross-Brand Strategy

The Cross-Brand Strategy team:
* Supports the existing business by developing and managing strategic cross-brand initiatives that drive profitability across physical and digital products
* Identifies and develops consumer-centric product and marketing ideas that support existing and emerging products and platforms, with emphasis on emerging digital platforms
* Partners with Product Management, Business Development, Studio Technology, Integrated Retail, as well as Theatrical Distribution and Marketing, International In-Home Sales, and Digital Marketing and Sales to support the existing business and launch new products and initiatives.

Responsibilities
* Assist in creation and execution of acquisition, engagement, and sustain strategies and tactics for new digital initiatives
* Research compelling digital and social marketing campaigns, direct-to-consumer initiatives, and content strategies executed in competitive and related industries to identify trends
* Develop creative briefs, managing legal and talent approvals across the creative process
* Manage style guide, templates and on-going guidance to product management teams to ensure messaging and communication is consistent
* Assist in consumer relationship management initiatives to drive consumer acquisition and retention
* Track and provide industry updates and insights on Blu-ray and Digital products
* Help create presentations for senior management
* Track budgets efficiently
* Keep management apprised of changes on a timely basis to keep projects on track

Basic Qualifications
* Strong balance of product management, marketing, creative, and business management skills
* Strong mix of quantitative and qualitative analysis skills
* Working knowledge and a passion for new technology including digital entertainment products
* Working knowledge in professional and/or personal environment of digital and social media
* Demonstrates the proven and repeated ability to carry out responsibilities.
* Collaborates across functions and finds common ground with various groups and individuals.
* Communicate effectively in both written and verbal form - to both peers and senior management
* Work smoothly and effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

* Minimum 2 years of marketing and/or product management experience
* Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in entertainment, technology and/or consumer goods industry, with digital/social/new media focus

Required Education * BA/BS degree
Preferred Education * MBA
