Assistant Merchandise Manager

Assists in Designs and develops strategies for selection, pricing, and promotion of merchandise to meet organization objectives for sales, margin, inventory turns, and customer service in a single retail or wholesale location or covering multiple locations in an assigned territory.

• Project manage the Limited Time Events calendar and all applicable marketing needs
• Own planning, communication, preparation and execution of select Limited Time Events
• Ensure all Limited Time Event information and deliverables are entered into salesforce
• Work cross-functionally and within the team to identify, formalize and follow-through on partnerships for the Limited Time Event space
• Provide sellers, Merchant Development and Vertical partners holistic guidance for successful exposure in the Limited Time Event space
• Develop strong working relationships across the Merchant Development and Verticals organization to identify, source and negotiate strategic inventory opportunities
• Collect, aggregate, review and provide feedback regarding submissions for confirmed placements
• Work cross-functionally and within the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and product solutions to simplify inventory disposition
• Perform thorough pre and post-launch QA for all events to ensure we are providing a world-class buyer experience
• Work closely with each event owner to determine and communicate out the merchandising plan
• Perform post-launch event optimization to ensure top selection is highlighted
