Our client is looking for someone who has managed content previously working with a blog team, experience with different content sharing platforms, editorial background, writing social media content, and can oversee the production of audio coaches, hitting deadlines, experience with brand strategy, contribute research on SEO, and identify new opportunities for content. You'll be working on blogs, social media content, app content, and e-newsletters, partnering with global marketing teams. You should be tracking stories, onboarding freelancers, and resizing photos, all under the guidance of the Editorial Director. Also, the opportunity to write blog and/or social media posts will be available to the right candidate!
-At least 3 years working in a role that involved managing editorial functions and/or setting content strategy for a publisher or consumer lifestyle brand
-Familiarity with copy development process in print or digital publishing
-Google Analytics proficiency
-Stellar organizational skills
-Exceptional project management chops, including the ability to set and manage deadlines for multiple projects. Must love spreadsheets.
-Near psychic ability to anticipate issues in the production process and proactively solve them
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing or Communications
Nice to Haves:
-Experience writing and editing customer-facing content (blogs, social media copy, etc.) for the digital space
-Knowledge of Wordpress and/or similar CMS tools for content input and site or blog maintenance
-A thorough knowledge of the English language, grammar, spelling, punctuation and usage.
