Assistant Manager - Catalog Product and Lifecycle Management Contract Open NOW!

Amazing Contract Open for someone with Retail Merchandising, Marketing and Project Management skills.
WORK DATES: 07/30/12 to 11/30/12
HOURS: 9:00 am TO 6:00 pm

NOTE: This is an ASSISTANT Manager Position.
This is NOT a Senior/Executive Level Position. The pay rate will be in the $30-40/hour range.

Responsibilities:
Pricing
" Manage permanent price changes throughout the year
" Determine titles ready for each reprice by holding discussions with brand teams and sales teams and by analysis of industry and sales data.
" Stay informed of industry and practices and pricing strategies to insure alignment with current trends.
" Continue ongoing discussions with Brand, Sales and Finance teams until a finalized reprice program is approved by all teams.
" Be fully versed with the entire catalog to include lines of business and product configurations with their corresponding pricing tiers.
" Maintain the reprice calendar.
" Utilize Prophet (in-house application) in the process of managing reprice programs.
" Use Microstrategy for Industry and data analysis.

Catalog Management
" Identify and manage new potential products such as 2-Packs, multi-packs, seasonal packs or never before released titles.
" Work with internal teams and outside vendors when creating new product.
" Maintain documentation tools and systems of record such as the Master List and the Non-Salable Lists.
" Process and/or implement non-salable requests as needed.
" Maintain the catalog library by indentifying non-performing titles and determining the best strategy for maximizing revenue or minimizing costs.
" Manage ad hoc requests from Technicolor and Operations regarding product issues such as missing sticker placements and renewing Osleeves.
" Maintain and manage the Digital Copy calendar.
" Maintain and manage Catalog Product Management documentation on Sharepoint.

Basic Qualifications
" Manages projects, timelines, and deals effectively with pressure.
" Prioritizes work activities; plans and stays organized in order to meet commitment and productivity standards.
" Multi-tasks by switching smoothly from one project or task to another.
" Takes ownership and responsibility for work progress.
" Ability to work well in a team environment and applies strong interpersonal skills in daily work activities.
" Fits and works well with a high energy and talented team of in-house producers.
" Experience working in a collaborative environment and managing external vendors.
" Expresses written ideas, thoughts, or facts in a clear, convincing, and organized way.
" Strong working knowledge of Microstrategy, Microsoft Office applications (MS, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and SAP.
" Ability to learn in house applications such as Prophet.
" Working knowledge of Sharepoint.

Preferred Qualifications
" Minimum 2 years experience using Microstrategy.
" Entertainment industry experience preferred.

Required Education
" BA/BS required

Preferred Education:
" MBA preferred
