Job Title: Assistant Events Manager/Junior Events Manager  

This role is responsible for coordinating global marketing event duties, under the direction of the Global Event Manager - EMEA for a specific project. The role will work with the Event Manager to execute the event and ensure client expectations are met. The role will coordinate various aspects of overall event production, which may include: sourcing venues, caterers, and production vendors; accurately forecast needs for promotional materials, catering, venues, and other event production needs; maintaining event registration lists and attendee communication. On–site event work and occasional travel is required. This short term role is to support a specific upcoming project. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

* Coordinate internal and external meetings 
* Maintain spreadsheets, contacts, distribution lists, other internal tools, etc 
* Ensure and maintain confidentiality of all appropriate communications and documentation 
* Communicate daily with internal and external customers, prospects, partners, and vendors while exhibiting the highest degree of professionalism, courtesy and diplomacy 
* Track, prioritize, and assign all incoming written and oral communications, as necessary, to appropriate person(s) for response 
* Manage, coordinate, and support as needed 
Skills:
* Excellent computer skills and comprehension of Outlook 
* Incredibly organized and detail-oriented 
* Ability to prioritize multiple assignments 
* Customer service and problem solving skills 
* Experience working in the events industry, tech event experience preferred 
* Excellent communication skills with internal and external partners 
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment 
* Ability to multi-task and change direction quickly​
