Assistant Account Executive

Our client is seeking an Assistant Account Executive with one to three years of advertising and executive account experience in an agency environment and direct marketing experience for a one-month project. Must have a related degree and be a team-oriented individual. Must be energetic, extremely detailed with excellent communication and project management skills. Must be able to work on a variety of projects simultaneously with multiple deadlines; develop client relationships as well as team relationships.

Responsible for creating project schedules and trafficking deliverables between internal departments to assure timelines are adhered to. The AAE will assist Account team members in day-to-day execution of client needs plus interactive projects for the client. The AAE is an integral part of the Client Services Team and will assist the client team by coordinating the day-to-day agency activities and client data in order to meet account's objectives.

Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
• Communicate client objectives to internal team; act as liaison between client and internal team.
• Conduct weekly status meetings with clients.
• Work closely with internal creative team to guide strategy and development.
• Manage and enforce timelines with the team. Conduct weekly status meetings with account, production and creative staff.
• Assist in creative decks for competitive analysis.
• Gather, interpret and organize monthly reports.

Account Executive to run integrated multi-channel online and offline campaigns for our high-growth clients. Seeking a passionate individual who has a college degree and has agency and direct marketing experience. Personnel management experience a plus.

You must be proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Here are just a few of the expectations for this position:
• Manage accurate and on time delivery of account service requirements to/from creative, production, media, proofreading and IT.
• Communicate assignment details and monitor work effort through to completion.
• Write work orders, creative briefs, change orders as required throughout the course of a given program or project.
• Review and approve copy, layout, mechanicals, printing proofs and media-related documents.
• Gain an understanding of clients’ businesses, marketing situations, goals, methods of operation, target markets, competition, etc.
• Manage interdepartmental communication; maintains status of work in progress at all stages, and manages approvals from appropriate staff at appropriate milestones.
• Make sure client is informed of all account activities, confirms all client conversations and agreements.
• Prepare and distributes client/agency conference reports.
• Produce sound ideas and give backup rationale to support them.
• Draw logical conclusions from optional courses of action and illustrates trade-offs/opportunities of each option.
• Analyze results, makes result projections, draws conclusions, and recommends how to proceed with a degree of expertise.
• Make practical assumptions regarding costs and results.
