Our client, LOCATED IN ROCHESTER NEW YORK is looking for a brand leader for their design team. You will be part of an in-house creative team who is responsible for designing 95% of all work for the company which includes: packaging, billboards, signage, way-finding, promotional materials, events materials, collateral, direct mail, web sites, micro-sites, to everything in-between! Designs are centered around the customer experience and how the companies design makes the customer feel.


As the Art Director, you will play in integral role in developing and maintaining corporate brand identity, while also managing the development of high quality creative solutions and ensuring strategic objectives of the projects as well as the corporate brand standards are met. You will think out-of-the-box in terms of "how do I make this different?"


Responsibilities

  • reates corporate creative guidelines, supports guidelines through learning and knowledge, and evaluates output for consistent results
  • Provides creative evaluation and creative direction to other Sr. Creative Team Leaders
  • Creates and maintains an environment where our corporate identity, brand message, and business objectives are clearly outlined and readily understood and consistently adhered to
  • Responsible for high level conceptual output, creative strategy and design as well as project management for multiple high profile priority projects such as; new business ventures, Menu magazine, specialty packaging, web site graphics
  • Partners with business units to develop a design strategy that is in line with Corporate strategy and goals
  • Develops the skills of the creative team to consistently meet organizational needs
  • Supervises the creative team resources to gain better efficiencies in terms of deadlines, prioritization, and focus
  • Oversees and owns the processes for project planning and work flow for the branding team, introducing new projects to the team and allocating resources as necessary
  • Provides strategic focus and guidelines for the look and feel of all photography, offering art direction on location at photo shoots and maintaining responsibility for implications to photo budget
  • Evaluates photography and makes final approvals
  • Identifies the need for internal and external resources, people, material, hardware, software, for creative development
  • Assists in measuring and reporting operational efficiency and quality
