Our client, a household name is outdoor/sports retail is looking to add to their team. The ideal candidate has a portfolio which is predominately print and is interested in graphic design. Sports-minded/outdoor influences in your design is a plus!

• Concept, design and produce content for printed materials with the direction from the Associate Creative Director and Art Directors
• Attend and contribute to concept brainstorming meetings
• Follow brand and style guidelines
• Work closely with the production artist, and art directors to ensure timely completion of projects

Required Skills
• Knowledge of print layout principles and user centric design concepts
• Strong concept generation skills with the ability to relay ideas in sketched form
• Familiar with direct marketing principles and best practices
• Ability to work within a collaborative environment with an eye on design trends
• Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac computer platform
• Understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
• Experience with prepress preparation and PDF creation a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Must have strong initiative and the ability to prioritize and work under a tight schedule with input from several different sources
• Four-year degree from an accredited college university preferred; combination of work experience and education will be considered

• 3+ years of experience working in an print marketing environment designing and producing finished pieces
