Art Director
Work as a team of 5-10 designers

The Art Director will work as a multi-faceted design professional, interacting with others in the Global Creative Team and directly with internal stakeholders in the management on multiple projects. They will concept and create design materials for a range of marketing communications, including internal and external presentations (both unique and templated), events, displays, video and digital projects. The majority of presentations will have a global focus, and the concepts/graphics/page layouts will need to ‘translate’ to other languages.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Synthesizes creative, brand and business direction to develop compelling, strategically sound design solutions
• Works efficiently and effectively within a creative process while always looking for opportunities to improve workflow
• Collaborates with creative management, design counterparts and contributors (both internal and external), as well as with executives
• Develops creative concepts that translate executives' visions and stories into persuasive visual design, using combination of branding, graphics and imagery
• Prioritizes multiple deliverables to manage expectations and meet deadlines
• Presents creative work to colleagues and peers, explains complex concepts in simple, easy to understand terms
REQUIREMENTS:
• 7+ years experience working in a professional office setting
• 5+ years experience working in a deadline-driven office environment as part of an agency or brand design team
• Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) OR a High School Diploma/GED with 5+ years equivalent experience in agency of brand design team
• Clear understanding of foundational design principles (typography, color, line, composition) across multiple media, i.e. print, display, direct response, digital
• In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Proficiency with presentation applications, including Apple’s Keynote and MS PowerPoint (knowledge of advanced tools such as Union, Combine, Fragment, Intersect and Subtract a plus)
• Knowledge of and experience with some combination of the following:
- Photography and photo-retouching/-finishing
- Event design, production and development
- Digital (web, mobile, tablet, apps) design and front-end development
- Motion graphics and animation
- Video editing and production
• Experience applying and iterating upon established corporate brand guidelines
