Art Director, Digital

The Art Director will be responsible for creating unique content that is signature to our retail client. This position plays a key key role in the visual and brand concepting, strategizing and creation of the digital site experience.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead site brand project developments, look and feel of digital campaigns, and Art Direct internal photo shoots that pertain to these campaigns.
• Ideate on future digital 360 campaigns with the Editorial team
• Push creative so that the look and feel is unique and ownable to retail client
• Develop high level art direction decks that are appropriate for the digital channels
• Develop photography so that it is consistent throughout the channels while maintaining uniqueness within each social platform
• Meet with the Creative Director at least once a week to present ideas
• Meet regularly with Marketing/Merchant team
• Take initiative in working closely with all cross-functional teams
• Participate in brainstorming and creative synthesis
• Establish the design parameters (style guide), specifications, for assigned design projects
• Present work to the senior team, articulate ideas well while maintaining composure
• Work on multiple projects concurrently, ensuring deliverables are achieved on time while maintaining the highest quality
• Manage designer(s) on project by project basis

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• 6+ years of web and interactive design experience
• Needs to have a strong foundational type/design eye
• BA degree in Graphic Design/related field or equivalent work experience
• Must possess excellent layout/design/production skills
• Detail oriented with high degree of accuracy
• Ability to produce effective ideas under tight timelines
• Ability to take direction and prioritize tasks
