Art Director (Branding)

Looking for a great Senior Art Director with some edge! The Senior AD is responsible for coming up with truly unique and creative ideas and then executing at the highest level possible. Extending those ideas across all touch points-traditional advertising, digital, direct, social, mobile and branding-is also a key component of this role. 

Responsibilities:
• Working from a brief with a copywriter, generating ideas to present to the client
• Working on designs to produce an effective advertising campaign
• Managing projects and working within a budget
• Editing the final results for presentation to the client
• Managing accounts and projects
• Commissioning specialists, such as artists and photographers, to work on projects
• Presenting final layouts to clients for approval
• Training and directing staff members who develop design concepts into art layouts or who prepare layouts for printing
• Working with creative directors to develop design solutions
• Attending photo shoots and printing sessions to ensure that the products needed are obtained
• Creating custom illustrations or other graphic elements
• Preparing materials for typesetting or printing
• Conceptualizing and helping design interfaces for multimedia games, products and devices
• Preparing storyboards for television production

Qualifications:
• 4+ years of Art Direction experience with a strong traditional and digital background
• Expert knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign is a must
• The ability to work quickly to break through creative barriers to achieve the best possible solution
• Strong understanding of photography, typography and printing
• Work well as part of a team, with a range of people
• An interest in social and cultural trends and fashions
