We’re looking for a senior art director or designer for our internal marketing department! Are you our next team member? Check out our full time, internal role here!

In this role, you would join a lean team of marketers, content strategists, and visual designers and would have wide influence over implementing the Aquent global brand across all media, in addition to owning, or co-owning, product design and our client and talent experiences. This is a challenging role for someone who has been well-educated in design, has years of experience at a design agency, and wants more responsibility and better balance in their lives. While partly focused on design strategy, this is a very hands on role where you will be directing one or more design agencies and producing design output yourself as a way to show, not just tell, them how it should be done. We would really love someone from an internal design team or an ad agency for this role.

You will primarily be responsible for:
- Implementation and evolution of the Aquent brand on the website and across all other media
- Advertising campaign concept development across email, web, social, and mobile display, and print media
- Email template creation (visual design elements only)
- Enforcing user research and testing best practices
- Website strategy and creation
- Sales enablement design strategy - creating consistent presentation, print ads, event materials, etc
- Work with cross-functional product teams within the organization

Skills needed:
- Be an expert-level Photoshop and Illustrator user, and intermediate to expert-level InDesign user.
- Basic print processes, asset organization, and file prep.
- Web Design and UI design experience

Additional kills requested:

- HTML 5, CSS, and some Javascript editing
- an understanding of Lean UX principles and can converse intelligently in design and development languages.
- understanding of mobile UX environment, capabilities and limitations. You know what a user agent is.
- Be able to create and implement a brand style guide.
- Responsive web design, mobile user experience e.g. touch, swipe.
- Device resolution and DPI, knowledge of differences of color mode and 8/16/32 bits channel.

ABOUT THIS ROLE:
This is a full time, temp to perm role! We are looking for someone who can sit on-site in our Boston office
