Art Director

As an Art Director, you'll partner with print producers, writers, traffic managers, and marketing managers to concept and design print and digital collateral. Managing Production, Graphic and Interactive/Visual designers, you'll have an enormous opportunity to influence our look and feel, evolve our guidelines, and produce effective, innovative solutions.

Day to day Responsibilities:
-mentor and manage 4+ direct reports, develop their skill sets
-implement process
-lead brainstorming and creative strategy sessions
-present to clients
-partner with writers, designers, production artists, Clients, account executives and traffic manager
-ensure that our projects are on time, on budget, and of the highest quality.

Requirements/ Skill Sets:
-In addition to conceptual skills, excellent typography and design skills are a must, as is a real passion for marketing and design in general
-Your excellent communication and organizational skills are key as is your ability to digest and design for extremely complex financial products
-You're as comfortable developing creative as you are at managing
-Your conceptual, executional, multitasking and interpersonal skills are priceless
-Designing for affluent audience/luxury brands experience or financial services

Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a graphic/web design art director.
Significant experience as individual contributor.
Leadership, management and/or supervisory experience.
Thorough knowledge of Adobe’s Creative Suite and a working knowledge of Flash, HTML, and Microsoft Office preferred
Strong ability to apply knowledge of industry trends and practices to the creative process.
Well-spoken and eloquent in writing and verbal communication style.
Bachelors degree in Design or related major.
