​-​Creative owner of retail marketing which could include – in-store and window signage, in-store packaging/ shopper bags, gift cards and other collateral such as catalogues, direct mail and PR projects.
​-​Actively follows global design trends, and proactive in contributing fresh ideas.
​-​A visual storyteller who understands the difference between good and great, and will push projects to the next level.
​-​Understands how the shopper feels, and collaborates with merchants and marketing to translate strategy into compelling, emotionally engaging retail & catalogue experiences.
​-​Understands how to overcome in-store purchase barriers, while delighting consumers with an emotional retail experience
​-​Facilitate collaboration across functions, including Photography, Copy, Merchants, Marketing, Visual Merchandising and Product Design teams and to translate strategies into visually compelling, emotionally engaging stories.
​-​Obsessed with brilliant & efficient execution of projects.
​-​Responsible for maintaining and enhancing brand equity throughout projects.
​-​Able to interact with and influence senior level management
​-​Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
​-​Direct small team of designers.
​-​Solid design and print production experience required, proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
​-​7+ years experience art direction—preferably in retail, youth culture/lifestyle, fashion.
