We're looking for a strategic Art Director to join our team. You will lead visual designers, user experience designers, writers and other creative personnel (but not be afraid to do hands-­‐on execution of UI design, assets and illustrative sketches.). This role requires a strong background in design, understanding of all things digital, and a passion for great storytelling. We’re looking for an Art Director to build and establish our client's consumer brand, create compelling product design across all consumer touch points and help deliver our stories and services to the world. The Art Director is charged with innovating, inspiring a growing team of in-­‐house designers, user experience and interaction designers, outside agencies and writers to achieve their full potential. The position requires a deep understanding of concept and design across a range of traditional and digital media. Additionally, the Art Director will provide leadership to external agencies that augment the creative team and provide high-­‐profile branding, UI and product asset design services. The Art Director will work across a variety of media, including but not limited to websites, our mobile experiences, apps, social media channels, as well print and non-­‐traditional branding.

Requirements
• Direct all visual design, copywriting, keyart and video content for the consumer product and branding across key touch points: advertising, interactive media, in-­‐product experiences, email, social media, co-­‐ and brand
• Be ready to also roll up sleeves and jump in to capitalize on opportunities or solve issues
• Align and clarify creative needs through collaboration with business leadership, marketing, product, product design, engineering and customer support teams
• Manage, mentor, inspire and guide the creative team while guiding and providing creative leadership to external agencies
• Evolve, manage and enforce the brand system and guidelines -­‐ serving as first point of contact for all creative needs
• Work with producers to prioritize creative project schedules, improve and own creative workflow processes, protocols and tools ensuring deadlines and goals are met
• Push creativity and explore new ways to craft unique solutions that reflect and evolve the brand

Qualifications
• A great attitude and sense of humor
• At least 5 years of creative studio experience with 3+ years in a leadership or management role at a top branding agency, advertising agency or with a consumer technology brand
• Exceptional skills in graphic design and typography, preferably with experience in digital and/or consumer lifestyle products
• Knowledge of design fundamentals including brand identity, layout, color, typography, voice and photography
• Experience leading a cross-­‐functional team of designers, producers, UX, production artists and writers to achieve excellence
• Ability to direct visual design that organizes information and guides people through tasks
• Experience creating style guides used by both internal and external partners
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-­‐paced environment
• Effective communication skills across all levels of an organization — from individual contributors to executive staff
• A Bachelor’s or Masters degree in Arts, Fine Arts or Communication Design
