The Art Director is responsible for managing a team of designers executing corporate marketing and brand designs across web, mobile and email.

Primary Duties / Responsibilities:
· Manage and mentor a team of designers.
· Demonstrate hands-on design solutions across web, mobile, email, iconography/infographic.
· Possess strong visual sense and expert understanding of how to use typography, layout, color, usability, and information architecture to impact design.
· Assist in the development of standards, methodologies and repeatable processes for delivery of creative solutions.
· Manage and understand the full cycle of web production from creating visual designs, building a standard/guideline to art-directing development team.
· Collaborate with business owners and counterparts in all marketing functions such as strategist, UI specialist, web development, and event managers.
· Present concepts and design ideas to directors and executives as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements
Qualifications:
· Strong portfolio with a range of creative samples that demonstrate relevant work or projects.
· Solid track record of successful managing experience.
· A team leader who thrives in collaborative setting.
· A strong individual contributor who can inspire and lead by examples.
· Excellent communication skills both in writing and verbal. Be able to lead the strategic design decisions effectively.
· Must be self-motivated, proactive and dedicated to excellence.
· Must be able to drive the change with can-do attitude.
· Must be self-disciplined, have strong organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines. Able to use time effectively and prioritize/plan own work activities.
· Must have a keen eye for typography and color, and value simplicity and be extremely detail-oriented at pixel-perfect level.
· Advanced understanding of guidelines and standards development.
· Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design
· 8+ years of relevant work experience with an in-house creative team or advertising agency/design studio environment.
· Expert knowledge of designing for the web and adhering to the latest standards and techniques.
· Solid skills in all Adobe CS products
· Knowledge in HTML, Flash, PPT and motion graphics is a big plus.
