Art Director

The position requires a senior level creative talent with a proven ability to concept and craft stories, and has a master-level understanding of graphic design, including typography and layout. In addition, you’ll be an integral part of unleashing the potential of projects large and small; including web engagements, omni-channel marketing campaigns, display advertising, internal promotions, and external presentations. 

On any given day you might 
- Work with Creative and Art Directors to ensure design work meets expectations 
- Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project 
- Execute top quality design work as necessary in alignment with agency standards 
- Manage the execution of assets, typography, logos, icons and interfaces for multiple platforms including mobile and social media 
- Mentor and manage Designers and Junior Designers 
- Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications 

The ideal person 
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills within the agency team and with clients 
- Understanding of capabilities of web browsers, onscreen video requirements, Photoshop, Illustrator, and increasingly Sketch image manipulation 
- Knowledge of motion design, as well as visual/interactive/motion design trends 
- Ability to lead a small team and provide mentoring to junior team members 
- Is capable of presenting the case for why design decisions were made 
- Ability to produce cutting edge creative and exceptional design work 
- Deep understanding of digital tools, trends, and foundation 
- Ability to function independently and in a team environment

- 5+ years
