Art Director

Our client, a digital marketing & advertising agency, is looking for an Art Director to play a fundamental role in the advertising strategy and design development process. Your responsibility will be to develop compelling visuals, creative concepts and designs for interactive advertising and marketing materials. You will work closely with the Creative team, senior and junior designers, information architects and account and Production teams, as well as editorial support staff. The Art Director will present ideas to clients, participate in pitches as required, and participate in team meetings.

An experienced Art Director :
-Is passionate and original
-Combines conceptual creative thinking with exceptional delivery to ensure both creative and medical integrity
-Possesses a deep understanding of how (and when) interactive technologies can be used to deliver rich and rewarding user experiences
-Collaborates with members of the design team to conceptualize creative campaigns
-Leads thinking on advertising campaigns across platforms (social media, websites, email, print and more)
-Is responsible for on-strategy and on-time execution of multiple projects
-Is comfortable and experienced presenting work internally and externally to clients
-Still loves to design and be hands on with all projects

Details:
• On-site in Irvine, CA
• 40 hrs. / week, M-F
• contract to hire
