Our client, a Portland based Fortune 500 outdoor apparel and equipment company, is looking for to bring on a contract Apparel Merchandising Coordinator. This role will be responsible for coordinating all operational aspects of assigned product categories. Works closely with design, merchandising, and marketing staff to gather and integrate information.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

· Works as a team member in support of market research and composition of category briefs.
· Provides line list maintenance in PDM: including naming, dimensions, hang tag selection, catalog layout, bullets and proofing, and detail dispersion throughout the Corporate matrix.
· Assist the Team in meeting the Design / Development Calendar time lines by providing status updates.
· Through on line research of Key Retailers will maintain current reporting on sales history, projections and sell through information for various styles.
· Conduct on line research of key retailers partners assortments to advise competitive set for merchant. Ability to run reports of sales history, projects, and sell in information for division.
· Coordinate preparations for Line Adopt, Sales Meeting and account presentations (Domestic and International) by displaying product and organizing all related details.
· Assist with the composition of Product Marketing requests i.e., additional hangtags, POP, educational product information (product insights) and selling tools as requested.
· Organize sample racks for teams in preparation for Preline.
· Previews and meetings as well as impromptu internal meetings.
· Coordinate prototype line maintenance and assist sales in scheduling shipping of prototype samples, preparation for prelines, BUM, etc., as required.
