Project Overview: 
As an animator, you’ll be part of a tight-knit, interdisciplinary group responsible for building experiences that surprise and delight millions of users worldwide. This role will put you at the leading edge of human-centered design, product, and technology. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, animation, and illustration teams to make using our products more delightful and engaging. 

Overall Responsibilities: 
- Create characters, worlds, and animations, in a wide range of artistic styles with great attention to emotional and product impact 
- Come up with consistently excellent creative ideas within the constraints of a platform 
- Manage complex collaborative projects from idea, to creative pitch, to final execution in a fast-paced environment 

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities: 
- Make character animations using the industry standard software 
- Design a range of expressive animations within the parameters of a our product 
- Communicate and present animation ideas and storyboards on a daily basis 

Required Skills: 
- Bachelor of Fine Arts or equivalent. (In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience) 
- 2+ years of experience 
- An online portfolio of professional creative work demonstrating compelling concepts, characters and stories in a product context 
- Proficiency in industry-standard 2D animation and design software tools (i.e., Flash/Animate, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop) 
- Strong illustration and animation skills and the ability to work in a wide range of visual styles 
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workload and meet project deadlines 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Nice to have skills/Not Required: 
- Demonstrable project management experience 
- Projects demonstrating skill with user flows, UX and product design 
- Ability to translate conceptual direction into static and interactive art 
- Prototyping skills and general coding knowledge 
- Experience working in video game development or a related field 
- Experience putting together storyboards 
- Experience working with 3D software and modeling
