Analytics Manger - focus on Strategy & Consulting

The candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills and be very comfortable working directly with the client. The primary purpose of this role will be to support the Analytics Director on the strategy described below. In addition to this work, the manager will be on point for the delivery of a deep dive analysis of NI.com data w/insights and recommendations. They will have an analytics associate supporting them on data pull but they will own the presentation creation/delivery to client and must focus on 3 to 5 testing/targeting opportunities as part of the post analysis recommendation.

Skills required for Strategy work:
1. Ability to conduct discovery, knowledge transfer, learning sessions with the key members of client marketing and business teams, site development team, and other vendors to understand client online business goals, reporting needs, marketing programs, technical/site structure, merchandising organization responsibilities, and potential reporting audiences.
2. Ability to support Director of Analytics in development of a Measurement and Learning plan based on those interviews and past experience. Scope to include:
· Defining the client’s Analytics program mission and corresponding measurement strategy based on afore mentioned interviews
· Identifying the people (org structure, skill sets etc.), process (governance, testing/optimization, tagging etc.) and tools (TMS, behavioral analytics, data visualization, data warehouse etc.) needed to achieve the defined mission
· Devising a crawl, walk, run approach to execution to ensure progressive value/wins on the road to the long term vision along w/corresponding illustrative roadmap
· Ability to produce analytics project milestones/dependencies related to the client redesign/re-platform project that can be incorporated into the master project plan for that effort
· Ability to support a program deck to help the NI project sponsors to communicate the value of the completed analytics work and future planned activity.

Additional role requirements:
Understands and has experience w/use, business requirements for configuration and deployment of relevant technology applications: standard clickstream analysis tools (Adobe Analytics preferred but experience with comparable tools such as Google Analytics, Coremetrics, Webtrends etc. acceptable), Tag management systems (one or more of the following Adobe DTM, Ensighten, Google Tag manager, Tealium), Website Data layer
Experience with marketing automation and CRM related tools like Marketo, Eloqua, SalesForce preferred
Strong testing/targeting experience (test strategy development, forecasting length of test for statistical relevance, working with cross functional teams to execute tests – ex. creative, technical, editorial)
Understands the complex digital ecosystems and best practices and applies this knowledge to their work.
Must have strong analytical skills to provide insights as well as recommendations for changes and ability to convince key client decision makers of business benefits of the proposed solutions.
