Analytics Implementation Manager /Tag Manager

We are currently seeking an Implementation Manager to join a growing Digital Analytics team. This position reports to the Manager of Digital Analytics and will work with global and cross-functional marketing stakeholders in a large, Fortune 500 corporation.

The Implementation Manager is primarily responsible for supporting all platform implementations (Adobe Analytics Dynamic Tag Management, Test and Target, 3rd party pixel management etc.).

Duties & Responsibilities
• Track, prioritize, and manage analytics implementation tagging requests, including but not limited to: basic tagging for new pages, tracking enhancements, fixing existing tracking, and third party pixel implementation
• Work with business stakeholders and analysts to understand the problem being solved and desired outcome of implementation before designing measurement strategy
• Ability to translate measurement strategy into technical specs to be communicated to IT
• Exercise data governance to ensure the consistency of data over time.
• Maintain control over the tag management system
• Have in-depth knowledge of all components of Adobe Analytics platform implementation including tags, tag management solutions (DTM, GTM etc.), plug-ins, Campaigns, server call types, cookies, Site Catalyst variables (props, eVars, events), Data Connectors, SAINT classifications, calculated metrics, Link Tracking, JavaScript, HTML, and packet sniffing
• Partner with engineering team to define and perform quality assurance testing activities to ensure accurate and efficient data collection
• Ensure that teams are educated about the quality of data capture and what it will enable in reporting and insight generation
• Collaborate with Analytics team to translate data output into meaningful, actionable and impactful information that can effectively contribute to our digital properties

Qualifications:
2+ years hands-on experience with tag management systems like DTM, GTM, Tealium, etc
4+ years’ experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Experience with JavaScript & HTML
Quantitative mindset, with a desire to work in a data-intensive environment
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Passion for both digital media and digital technology
Savvy with respect to the technical concepts and workflows that underpin digital analytics, such as debugging tools (Charles or Firebug), connection proxying, first- vs third-party cookies, data encryption, content management systems, etc.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent academic professional background
Knowledge of Agile software development process and project management systems preferred
