LOCATION:  San Francisco

 

** A FORTUNE 500 FASHION RETAILER IS LOOKING FOR A DATA ANALYST FOR PRODUCT TESTING OPERATIONS! **

Product Testing is a key focus area in our client's business, enabling their brand teams to test product to gain customer feedback that drives high-impact, strategic decisions. Testing informs a range of decisions – from the size of a denim order to re-designing a dress or selecting a print prior to manufacturing. 

Testing Operations owns end-to-end test executions, creates best in class execution process and tools, and drives sustainability through continuous improvement. Our client's team works across all of their brands and includes working on 1) in-store product testing program and 2) online product testing capability. 

We are seeking someone with a passion for retail who thrives in a cross-functional working environment and will enjoy learning about all aspects of the retail business. You will get to work with functions across our client's brand (e.g. Merchandising, Production, Marketing, Design, Inventory Management, Store Operations, etc.) to understand how retail works. 

OVERVIEW:
• Own and drive end to end execution process for in-store/ online product testing 
• Work in close partnership with cross-functional brand teams to coordinate testing activities 
• Drive collection of data/artifacts required for building test 
• Track test execution progress, identify issues/risks, and coordinate mitigation plans & actions 
• Track test POs and shipment to stores for on-time test launch 
• Validate online test link to prepare for test launch 
• Validate and analyze test results and findings and prepare materials to deliver to the brands 
• Collect, manage, maintain testing data for reporting and measurement 
• Build strong partnerships with Brands, Brand Engagement, Analytics and Product Management teams 
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and time management 

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Good interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships 
• Analytical thinking and data orientation 
• Good written and oral communication skills 
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently 
• Bachelor’s Degree required 
• 2+ years of experience, Retail experience in Consulting, Inventory Management, Merchandising or Production will be a plus 
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Outlook
