Agile Project Manager

The Agile Project Manager (APM) will work in close collaboration with DM&I CBL Directors and support them with planning, leading; organizing and reporting on projects to achieve a high level of performance and quality in delivering the multichannel marketing projects that provide impact and business value to stakeholders and the respective markets. The APM will be responsible for managing several high visibility projects in a fast-paced and complex environment that may cross multiple business divisions. For the respective projects the APM will support and report to the Directors of Multichannel Marketing Strategy.

In performing this role, the APM will be expected to use a high level of multichannel and pharmaceutical product knowledge and experience in blending traditional project management principles and practices to fit large, complex, business-critical projects and with the appropriate level of planning support and provide the right balance of agility and predictability.

Essential Job Requirements
• Project Planning, Documentation and Management in collaboration with the DM& I CBL Directors – Define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; organize and lead project status and working meetings; prepare and distribute progress reports; support manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects
• Product/Initiative Owner Support – Support the Owner, which are usually the DM&I Directors in managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and helping to implement an effective system of project governance
• Process Management and Program Delivery- Define and manage a well-defined project management process and champion ongoing process improvement and outstanding multichannel program execution and measurement
• Strong understanding of pharmaceutical products, regulatory and business process in a fast-moving and complex environment

Qualifications
• Knowledge of project management principles and practices
• A proven track record of successfully implementing software or web development projects using 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager managing large, complex projects in a complex development environment with multi-function teams.
• Balanced business/technical background:
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and with management and delivery of multichannel marketing programs
• Sufficient level of technical background and be able to accurately and objectively evaluate complex project risks and issues
• Ability to collaborate with customers and stakeholders


Skills Required
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
• Knowledge and understanding of the business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
• Proven ability to ensure that project objectives, goals, and commitments are met
• Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate Project Management tools, MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with middle management
• Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
• International and Multi-Cultural understanding
• Ability to multitask and organize programs with flawless delivery
• Experience with various levels of corporate organizations to manage tasks, timelines and co-dependencies across multiple stakeholders
