Agile Project Manager

London's market leading, independent publisher who initially made their name with Stylist magazines. The Digital Operations team has both internal and external technical and data suppliers, all working to agile methodologies. We are looking for an Agile Project Manager to join us at an exciting stage of growth and work with our internal and external development teams.

Reporting to the Product Manager, this role will manage the day to day workflow for our internal and external development teams, managing multiple workflow boards and supporting the delivery of bugs and projects on the product roadmap.

Key tasks
• Managing the day to day delivery of projects on the product roadmap.
• Managing delivery timeframes and scopes of projects with the Product Manager, Product Owners, development leads and key stakeholders across the business.
• Supporting the internal & external development teams in the day to day delivery of projects & bugs, ensuring blockers are highlighted, appropriately discussed and removed to maintain effective & continuous delivery.
• Defining the sprint backlog with the Product Manager, focusing on regular and timely delivery of value.
• Coordinating morning stand-ups with the development team.
• Coordinating bug fixes with the development team and highlighting issues submitted by stakeholders to the the Product Manager and Product Owners.
• Facilitate sprint planning sessions with the development team, establishing a fair estimation process.
• Lead sprint retrospectives and foster an open and collaborative working environment.
• Produce sprint delivery reports every two weeks showing velocity and making sure any issues and problems are highlighted to the development leads, Product Manager and Digital Operations Director.

Experience
• 4+ years’ industry experience, at least 1 year of this should have included direct exposure to agile methodologies (preferably Scrum or Kanban) as a Project Manager.
• Experience of using Jira (Atlassian) as a workflow management tool.
• Experience in software production or some exposure to software development in publishing, technology or ecommerce.
• Experience in working in a product-led environment with creative and technical teams.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders and decision makers.
