Agency Relations Manager

Agency Relations Manager
As a Manager, Agency Relations, you’re a tech savvy progressive influencer, balancing strategic big-thinking with day-to-day rodeo skills. You're expected to be fluent in the fundamentals of marketing, branding, and the creative process, with a healthy experience set across agency and client side work. Equal parts trainer, coach, business partner, and negotiator, you have extensive experience in partner management and marketing governance, and a deep and wide understanding of the agency landscape and project management. You’re a strategic thinker and change agent who is comfortable in chaos and who thrives jumping in feet first to solve challenging problems.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with cross-functional teams to influence, implement, extend, manage, and evolve our creative resource ecosystem
Manage day-to-day relationships with key agency partners
Work across marketing to connect the right projects with the right creative partner
Help develop and refine marketing briefs
Support implementation of systems, processes, and events to optimize brand operations across products and functions (brand, creative, and media)
Partner with learning and development to execute strategic agency-related training programs

Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree (In lieu of degree, 8 years relevant work experience)
10 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
At least 8 years of work experience in brand and technology marketing
Proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams and agencies
Experience working on both the agency and client-side
Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly evolving, team environment
Ability to influence and communicate cross-functionally with all levels of management within this top Tech company.
High EQ that enables close working relationships with key leaders at top agencies and within key Product Areas
Ideally from an agency background with intimate working knowledge of how agencies function and how decisions are made
Ability to deal with ambiguity, solve complex problems and scale effectively across a large organization and highly distributed team
