Affiliate Marketing Manager

AQUENT is seeking an Affiliate Marketing Manager for an exciting opportunity in Richmond, VA!

Business Responsibilities:
• Act as relationship manager and primary point of contact with external Affiliate partners.
• Maintain accurate product information in Affiliate channels, monitor for compliance and provide feedback to Affiliate partners.
• Recommend promotional opportunities, evaluate potential online Affiliate partners, and recommend process improvements within the Affiliate channel.
• Identify and socialize with team new projects launching in the Affiliate channel and work with teams throughout company to create strong messaging and achieve desired targets in Affiliate channel.
• Manage creative process for multiple online creative projects, including writing creative briefs, providing status updates at daily meetings, scheduling meetings, providing and compiling feedback, running creative meetings, and being responsible for documentation and handoff of creative to delivery teams.
• Promote brand awareness and manage consistency in Affiliate channel.
• Support tactical SEM initiatives as needed.

Experience:
• 4-year degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business.
• MBA preferred. 5+ years experience in an organizational role, preferably in a marketing or agency environment.
• Preferred: Familiarity with online marketing practices, including SEM channel management. Experience managing external vendor relationships (especially Affiliates) a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to work independently and solve problems strongly desired.

Industry Knowledge:
• Confident in leading projects for multiple clients ideally Affiliate marketing or online marketing for the financial industry or ad agency with multiple client/industry focuses.
• Proven ability to quickly ramp up on position responsibility.
• Actively researches, learns and incorporates new means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve processes.

Technical Knowledge:
MS Word - 3+, MS Excel - 3+, MS Powerpoint – 3+
MS Project - 1+ (a plus), Acrobat - 1 +
