Affiliate Marketing Associate

The Affiliate Marketing Associate will be responsible for managing the Affiliate Marketing Channel and actively drive traffic and sales to retail and online. Reporting to the Manager, Online Marketing, this position will be responsible for defining, developing and implementing advertiser affiliate strategies and programs that maximize publisher relationships and program revenue. The position will work closely with the Marketing Managers, Merchandising team, and External Affiliate Network Vendor (Commission Junction) to plan, manage and deploy affiliate campaigns. In addition to the Affiliate program, this position will lead the relationship with the online site and will partner with them to ensure it receives maximum exposure on the site and will identify and implement innovative ideas to drive traffic, and analytics to assess results and assure optimal marketing.

The responsibilities for this position include:
" Manage entire affiliate marketing campaign set up and execution which includes: publisher recruitment and application review process, cultivating and maintaining strong publisher relationships, communicating products and promotions in a timely manner to coincide with corporate timelines, reviewing banner and link results, and providing overall program reporting to Marketing Team.
" Partner with Commission Junction account management team to develop new strategies to improve overall channel performance, increase efficiencies and streamline costs. Partnership to also include developing effective commission structuring and creative management that supports overall marketing strategies for Guest continuity.
" Lead relationships with publishers, fan sites, and Commission Junction account management team, for day-to-day program management, communication and operations.
" Serve as the primary contact for day-to-day program management and operations, as well as the Online Marketing team.
" Identify areas of additional opportunity for showcasing product and increasing overall brand awareness within websites.
" Manage the procurement of placements and optimize creative and ad copy for maximum efficiency.
" Consult with Marketing, Creative and Merchandising teams to design strategies, implementing best practices and effectively utilizing all internal and affiliate vendor capabilities.
" Develop and maintain an affiliate promotion and deployment calendar.
" Work with finance team to ensure data and analytics to track program success.
" Use a test and learn approach to optimize program effectiveness and quantify results.
" Develop plans to improve customer acquisition, retention and reactivation through the implementation of online programs with a focus on maintaining profitable customer relationships.
" Analyze customer behavior and key customer characteristics to improve the performance of the affiliate marketing program. This will require developing methods for analyzing, mining, and reporting on customer data.
" Leverage internal resources to ensure product feeds, SKU based commissions, and automated processes are functioning optimally.
" Develop innovative affiliate-only offer testing, innovative contests and bonus structures, and performance metrics and make recommendations based on the analysis.
" Partner on development of ROI and LTV analytics.

Qualifications:
o B.A/B.S in Marketing, Business, or related fields.
o 3-4 years marketing experience specifically affiliate marketing involving customer acquisition and retention.
o Proven success developing and implementing affiliate marketing strategies.
o Excellent understanding of direct marketing best practices and analysis.
o Demonstrated project management skills with ability to develop and implement marketing strategies and assess marketing performance in a cross functional environment.
o Experience communicating business and marketing objectives to both creative and merchandising teams.
o Excellent client-management, communication (verbal and written) and analytical skills.
o Highly data literate with demonstrated problem solving abilities.
o Must be able to succeed in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
o Must be analytical, strategic, mature and thoughtful.
