Affiliate Digital Marketing Analyst

You’ll use data and insights to inform strategies and tactics that drive traffic, sales and innovation while creating a fast, fun experience that inspires guest loyalty. As a Contractor - Affiliate Digital Analyst, your position will be integral in driving traffic and sales from thousands of partner sites across the internet.

Affiliate Analyst Role
•Analyze and understand channel data in order to identify insights, trends and opportunities.
•Create, maintain and communicate performance reporting and insights to key internal and external partners.
•Perform ad hoc analysis and develop actionable insights that inform the marketing strategies and tactics of the affiliate channel.
•Stay informed of industry trends and best practices as well as competitive landscape.
•Ensure all vendors and partners are paid on time by managing our invoicing and billing process through SAP.
•Work with internal partners and our agency to identify and plan existing content and assets in order to deliver to our agency and publishers.
•Manage content analysis in order to understand how content drives the business and how publishers leverage various types of content.
•Provide creative direction and approval of assets for special events or promotions.
•Maintain relationships with key internal and external partners; including our agency, top publishers and other Target teams.

Requirements
•4-year college degree.
•4+ years related experience in digital marketing, preferably affiliate marketing.
•Previous experience with digital media data and analytics.
•Strong Microsoft Excel skills including lookups, formulas, pivot tables, etc.
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Access and Microsoft Outlook.
•Basic technical understanding of HTML/CSS, MySQL/NoSQL and Javascript.
•Basic understanding of URL/URI strings, tracking parameters and redirects.
•Experience with Omniture (Site Catalyst, Adobe analytics) or other web analytics products.
•Experience managing, optimizing and growing multiple direct response online media campaigns and partnerships.
•Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics to draw insights and make decisions.
•Proven ability to accommodate evolving responsibilities and last minute changes.
•Strong decision-making, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Experience managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects.
•Excellent project-management and time-management skills.
•Ability to work well independently and within a team environment.
•Well organized and strong attention to detail.
