Advertising/Sales Manager

We are helping our client find an Advertising/Sales Manager who has experience with advertising and sales functionality. This person is the "glue" within the advertising and sales departments making sure that advertising specs are correct, sponsors and exhibitor relationships/materials are organized and making sure appropriate information is updated on correct company related websites. Responsibilities with this role include, but are not limited to:

* Coordinate media kit development and production of advertising spec requirements.
* Understand event exhibit and sponsorship programs including pricing, availability, assets and deadlines.
* Collect exhibit and sponsor deliverables
* Ensure sponsor/exhibit information on appropriate websites
* Communicate with advertisers and their agencies regarding production requirements, deadline dates, and other requests from advertisers in magazines and other publications
* Manages database in the Ad Manager Software system for all insertion orders, client contracts and customer data files.
* Develop/maintain relationships with existing advertisers by managing advertising schedules and all paperwork related to the placement of advertising. This includes responding to inquires on pricing, deadlines, etc.
* Work with advertisers to developer promotional offers using existing publications.
* Manages requests by advertisers to develop special promotional offers using company publications
* Conducts competitive publication research in order to stay abreast of the competition, particularly advertising rate and circulation comparisons and suggesting new ways of advertising for sponsors
