With minimal supervision, responsible for the execution of advertising components for seasonal or department driven initiatives, which can include newspaper ads, shared mail, FSI’s, direct mail, email, and store signage. Responsibilities include:
Developing creative and media briefs, providing direction to the media and creative departments, and evaluating creative and providing feedback
Understanding and being knowledgeable of pertinent merchandise information
Assisting with pre-production meetings and photo shoots; recommending final shot list; facilitating final merchandise approval with merchants
Partnering with Store Operations to define necessary communication to stores for in-store execution of marketing materials
Administering the approval of the final media plan and the final creative.
Overseeing the work of the co-op student or intern
Minimum formal education, if any, required to perform this job:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Advertising.
Minimum job skills required to perform this job:
Solid communication skills
Ability to multitask
Fashion and retail awareness
Minimum experience required to perform this job:
2-3 years of ad agency or client side Advertising/Marketing.
