This TOP Fortune 500 company, that specializes in tax software for small businesses, is seeking an Advertising Marketing Manager to join their team in Mountain View, Ca (headquarters). This will be a one year contract within their Small Business Group division, focused on leading the development of advertising campaigns targeted at small business owners. Salary: Up to $63/hr DOE
This is a great opportunity to be at the center of accelerating their Small Business Group growth in the cloud worldwide. The position reports to the Senior Marketing Manager of the Advertising team. They're looking for an individual with a passion for innovating, great collaboration skills, test & learn mindset, and phenomenal drive for results. Positive attitude and openness to collaborate are extremely important.



Responsibilities:
• Support the development of media strategy and creative execution of world class insight-based advertising, including television, radio, out of home and online advertising.
• Develop a deep knowledge and understanding of the target consumer to identify key insights that can be leveraged in advertising and communications.
• Inspire and manage agency partners to excellence by providing clear direction and building strong relationships.
• Partner with agency partners, finance and strategic sourcing to manage budgets and open SOWs. Continually monitor, track and reconcile agency scope of work on a regular basis and leads agency evaluation process.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and agencies, facilitating the creation of assets and the execution of advertising.
• Use insights from creative experiments to inform and identify opportunities to improve the experience and performance. Work with Analytics partners to clearly understand performance, analyze trends, business results and use this data to develop new actions to improve results.
• Take an external view, keeping abreast of latest industry, marketing, advertising and media trends and learning and leveraging best practices within the Marketing team.

Qualifications:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in advertising project management on the client or agency side.
• Foundational knowledge of advertising and marketing disciplines.
• Ability to translate customer insights into advertising activities that achieve tangible results.
• Strong track record of team collaboration and cross-functional partnerships. Ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and to lead cross-functional project teams.
• Ability to pivot and adapt to shifting priorities without missing a beat with “Test & Learn” mindset with track record of innovation.
• Excellent communications skills both written and verbal, along with a reasonable comfort level in making presentations.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
• BA/BS, Communications, Advertising, Marketing, Business Administration, or related degree (MBA not required but preferred).
