We are seeking a Copywriter who is a strategic thinker, can brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and produce thoughtful, irresistible messaging for print and digital deliverables. Do you have a keen understanding of copy trends in direct response, email, social and web channels? More about the job and the team:
The Copywriter/Art Director team is responsible for concepting and executing against marketing strategies. The Copywriter is adept at writing persuasive, compelling copy that informs, motivates and inspires the target to take a desired action. In addition to writing to various audiences, the writer is expected to craft copy for a variety of disciplines, including direct, customer communications, digital content and more.

Responsibilities:
• Writes effective, engaging, strategy-driven copy for a variety of direct response media.
• Meets deadlines dependably.
• Develops creative concepts in collaboration with art directors.
• Adopts creative concepts to a wide variety of formats and media.
• Presents creative strategy, rationales and comps to clients or prospective clients and leads their review of creative materials.
• Develops professional knowledge in all aspects of direct response/advertising including offers, formats, graphics and design, consumer behavior, media, production, etc.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• At least 3+ years of experience in development of marketing campaigns, producing copy and concepts in an advertising profession, or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Master of strong copy and headlines, and also has a sense of art direction.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey ideas and information clearly, concisely and persuasively.
• Direct/promotional marketing, mass advertising, interactive and content writing experience.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Ability to think strategically.
• Excellent negotiating and problem-solving skills.
• Digital fluency with a solid understand of how to drive conversation and engagement across digital channels including email, social, and display advertising.
• Ability to interpret Consumer Insights and testing results and convert that information into actionable copy strategy.
• Strong desire to research and gather audience, market and industry insights to help guide copy.
