AQUENT is partnering with one of our COOLEST clients to help identify a talented and creative Copywriter to sit on-site in Toronto with their dynamic in-house creative team . Are you an experienced copywriter with a solid background in producing brilliant work for both traditional and digital channels. You’ll work within the Agile Pod environment, and will primarily be developing integrated multi-channel campaigns and single-executions within

What you’ll be doing:

• Writing for a variety of channels including digital, direct mail and print advertising
• Working closely with an art director and designer in concept development and providing strategic input across a variety of marketing initiatives
• Consulting with marketing managers, technical editors and legal folks to ensure your brilliant words aren’t just persuasive – they’re spot-on accurate
• Coming up with big ideas – ideas that break through, meet the strategy and are always on brand

What you need to have:

• Right Brain Smarts: Excellent writing skills (compelling and grammatically clean long-form copy as well as effective headlines, taglines, and calls to action) and strong concept development abilities

• Left Brain Smarts: You think strategically and understand the importance of the “Big Idea”
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects

What we’ll be looking for:

• At least 4 years of writing experience – agency or marketing background is preferred (we stick to CP style standards)
• Experience writing for the Canadian credit card or financial services industry would be nice, but not necessary
