The Online Video Media Buyer for the Video Network has the opportunity to play a key role on the leading edge of our global video advertising strategy. The ideal candidate for this role will have background and familiarity with the digital advertising space, and preferably with video advertising, as well as, the media planning and transaction model between publishers and advertisers, and ad serving and optimization platforms. This is a high profile role that will have the ability to directly contribute and impact the profitability and growth of this high velocity and strategically important segment of business.

Roles & Responsibilities -
• The Online Video Media Buyer will maintain and help grow key supply relationships on a day to day basis for the purpose of securing online video inventory to meet business demand and margin objectives.
• The Online Video Media Buyer will have day to day communication with named publishers and assist in the negotiation of media agreements with new publishers
• The Online Video Media Buyer will help quantify and qualify new publishers/suppliers and will be the primary check-point and enforcer of our 3PS contract including content acceptance policies for site appropriateness
• The Online Video Media Buyer engages with the US Sourcing team to understand existing supply positions and identify profitable supply opportunities; and collaboration
• The Online Video Media Buyer will manage bids in online video exchanges to maximize yield and fulfillment; and will play a key role in the definition and launch of the programmatic buying in the future.
• The Online Video media Buyer will manage campaign ad creative approval with individual publishers, where required.
• The Online Video Media Buyer’s core objective is to increase profitable business by minimizing TAC and tracking publishers’ video performance (e.g. impression pace, completions) and optimizing placements for campaigns in progress and applying those learnings in the future.
• The Online Video Media Buyer will maintain Video Ad Network site lists and will characterize sites against audience indices and ad format and tracking capabilities.
• The Online Video Media Buyer will track and report on media costs, understand and integrate market supply and demand trends, incorporate cost modeling, and work to define and manage relevant video advertising procurement metrics; and will work with finance to capture monthly TAC costs.
• The Online Video Media Buyer will support customer proposals as requested by field sales (video specialists), including information on rate, volume, site lists and indices, and attach options; all based on key business KPI’s.
• The Online Video Media Buyer works closely with the product teams to help provide the voice of the publisher/supplier and to share strategic insights/opportunities


Qualifications –
• Experience in planning/buying digital media, and preferably with online video
• Familiarity with 3rd party syndicated data (e.g. comScore, Nielsen/@Plan, MRI),
• Familiarity and experience with ad serving and inventory/media planning tool/platforms (e.g. adap.TV)
• Core Competencies:
o Team player, Results driven, Analytical, Strategic insight, Impact & influencing others, Project management, project planning, Strong negotiation skills
o 2 – 3 years work experience
